Comprehensive Psychology Assessment and Report

$2,572.92 (this is an average cost – the fee is charged
by the number of hours of testing and report writing)

What it entails:

Background Semi-Structured Interview – We gather information such as family history, developmental and medical background, diagnoses, and other crucial details.
Diagnostic Review – We will review your current diagnoses in line with DSM-5-TR criteria. This can involve a range of tests or psychological measures.
Daily Living Skills Assessment – We evaluate areas like communication, mental state, well-being, mobility, self-care, and self-management.
Support Recommendations – Tailored recommendations based on the client’s needs and goals and meet NDIS criteria for accessibility to appropriate, reasonable, and necessary support.

Psychology, Counselling, and Feedback Sessions

What it entails:

Psychology and counselling sessions are designed to provide a supportive environment where individuals can explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviours with the guidance of a psychologist (for psychology sessions), provisional psychologist or psychotherapist (for counselling sessions).

These sessions are also designed to focus on achieving the individual goals of the participant. Over time, you and your therapist will review your progress and adjust your goals and the focus of your sessions as needed.

Progress Report

A progress report serves to track therapy and NDIS goal progression. It may be completed by the treating psychologist or a counsellor. These reports act as evidence to be submitted to NDIS plan reviews.

What it entails:

NDIS and Therapy Goals Review – this involves an examination of the progress towards or obtainment of the individual’s therapy and NDIS plan goals
Examination of the Goals – this allows us to make recommendations for future therapy and NDIS goals moving forward.
Exploration of the Barriers to Achieving Goals – this will also be conducted to allow for modification within interventions and recommendations for future plans.
Support Recommendations – based on the examination of the participant’s progress, recommendations will also be made for the new NDIS plan review.

Drumbeat for NDIS

$130 per session plus travel
for individual sessions.
$100 per session plus travel
(if applicable) for a group of 2-4 participants.

Group Sessions with Drumming – Drumbeat is typically conducted in group settings where participants play hand drums. The rhythmic aspect of drumming is used to engage participants in a non-threatening and enjoyable way.
Structured Learning – The program includes structured learning about relationships, values, and identity, using the metaphor of music and rhythm to explore these concepts.
Therapeutic Goals – For NDIS individuals, Drumbeat can be aligned with therapeutic goals like improving mental health, increasing social participation, or developing new skills.
